Do I need tools or wiring to install it?
No. It is wireless and tool-free. On steel cabinets, safes or other metal surfaces the light attaches directly, so you can skip the plate.
Will it switch on during the day?
That depends on the mode. All-Day Motion Mode lights whenever it detects movement, Night Motion Mode only in a dim space, and Always On Mode stays lit continuously.
How long does a charge last?
Always On Mode runs up to 7.5 hours per charge. In the motion modes, the time between charges depends on how often it is triggered. A full charge takes about 2 hours.
Is it bright enough to light a room?
It gives 50 lumens of soft light, meant for small spaces such as cabinets, wardrobes, drawers, stairways and laundry rooms, rather than a whole room.
